Hi, guys! Another late post for me today. I had a fun weekend. Went to Long Beach Comic Con for the first time and had a lot of tun. Recap on that soon. Still haven’t had a chance to see The Maze Runner, but I am really hoping to see it next weekend. Boxtrolls also came out, and I really want to see that as well. Let’s see what books I got, shall we?

For Review

Say Yes to the Marquess by Tessa Dare – Dare is one of my favorite historical romance authors and this is book 2 in her newest series. I have been in need of a good romance and am excited to read this.

Never Judge a Lady by Her Cover by Sarah MacLean – This was a good week for historical romances for me. MacLean is another of my favorite romance writers and I can’t wait to finally read the mysterious Chase’s story.

Pretty Deadly Vol 1 by Rick Remender – Picked this up at LBCC this weekend. I have heard great things about this series and I can never resist a good team story.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer: The Long Way Home by Joss Whedon – I have been meaning to read the Buffy comic for a while now. This continues the series into Season 8. Found a great deal at LBCC so I picked up Vol. 1.

Birds of Prey: Old Friends, New Enemies by Chuck Dixon – Found this older volume of Birds of Prey this weekend as well. I have a friend who really likes this series and I’ve been meaning to read it.

As you can see, I have plenty to keep me busy. Unfortunately I am kind of in a reading slump right now. I just can’t find the motivation to read much. I am sure I’ll get over it at some point but it’s pretty annoying. What have you been reading?
