Uncovered (146): The Hanged Man

Who says you can’t judge a book by its cover? While it’s not the only factor in picking up a book, a pretty cover doesn’t hurt. Uncovered is a weekly post where I show some cover love. Enjoy!

Hi, everyone! It’s been a while since I last posted some cover love but today I am coming to you with this lovely image from The Hanged Man by P.N. Elrod. I actually did not know anything about this book until last weekend when my friend bought it while I was with her. I love how moody this cover is. The colors are so misty looking and I like that the woman’s face is obscured. It lets me make a picture of her in my head and also looks a little mysterious. I also love the outfit on the cover. That jacket is gorgeous. The book is about a woman who is a psychic forensics reader and is touted as a ‘Victorian urban fantasy thriller” by Patricia Briggs. All of those things sound amazing and make me want to read the book right now.

Who else think this looks fantastic? Has anyone read this yet?
