Uncovered (145): Frozen Tides

Who says you can’t judge a book by its cover? While it’s not the only factor in picking up a book, a pretty cover doesn’t hurt. Uncovered is a weekly post where I show some cover love. Enjoy!

It’s finally Friday! I am super excited to have a relaxing weekend filled with donuts, books and Avengers 2. We are getting the weekend started off with this beautiful cover for Frozen Tides by Morgan Rhodes. This is the third book in the Falling Kingdoms series. While I really like all of the covers, Frozen Tides might be my favorite. I just love how the lush green shade of her cloak stands out against the frozen background. The flaming hand/fireball is also badass. This cover just screams fantasy to me and I would pick it up if I saw it on a bookshelf. I also like how the title font plays into the frozen them with the icicle looking pieces. these could also be swords. Either way, I like it.

To my chagrin, I have not started this series yet. I have heard some great things about it though and plan to read it soon. Hopefully before this awesome cover is released. Is anyone else in love with this cover?
