New Poster and Teaser Trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

New Poster and Teaser Trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Have you guys seen? A new poster and teaser trailers for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was just released today. Even though the film won’t be released until next year, fans have been chomping at the book for any and all information they can get on the upcoming sequel. I really like the overall feel of the poster which I am assuming it supposed to look like an album cover. Everyone looks super badass and I am excited to see where the next movie goes. I am actually trying not to hear too much about it before it come… Read more »

Manicure Monday (97): Bam! Pow! Comic-Con Edition

Manicure Monday (97): Bam! Pow! Comic-Con Edition

Hi and welcome to Manicure Monday, a feature that combines my love of reading and nail polish. Each week I’ll showcase one of my current reads along with a matching book manicure. Hello! I am back from vacation. It’s been a while though it feels like everything went by really quickly. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen this manicure already. I don’t have a book manicure today, but am instead going to show you the nails that I did for Comic-Con weekend. Originally I wasn’t going to do anything super special to my nails for Comic-Con (crazy,… Read more »

Hello and welcome to Stacked, a weekly (usually) post where I discuss what books I’ve recently bought, borrowed or received. Happy Easter to everyone that celebrates. I like to celebrate chocolate and pastel colors on Easter so I am munching on some Cadbury mini eggs right now. I have a nice book haul this week thanks to a trip to the library and a full, fun day at Wonder Con (more about that later this week). Unremembered by Jessica Brody – I’ve surprisingly never read any of Brody’s books even though I’ve seen her many times and really like her as a… Read more »

What Does the Bookworm Say? Upcoming Film and Television Adaptations

What Does the Bookworm Say? Upcoming Film and Television Adaptations

Hi and welcome to What Does the Bookworm Say?, a feature where I discuss bookish topics with my friends at The Reader’s Antidote, Books Unbound and The Windy Pages. Each week, we will discuss a new bookish topic. This week’s topic is about upcoming book adaptations. This year looks like it’s going to be a really interesting year for book to film/tv adaptations. Adaptations are always a mixed bag for me because while I love to see my favorite books come to life, it’s a bit disheartening when the film or television version isn’t as good (in my opinion) as the book. But I am always willing to give… Read more »

Hello and welcome to Stacked, a weekly post where I share with you the books that I’ve bought, borrowed or received for the week. I had a healthy book haul this week. It’s just in time, too, because the weather has suddenly turned much more winter-like here in southern California and this weekend was the perfect time to settle down with a few good books. Borrowed California by Edan Lepucki – Picked up this audiobook from the library the other day. This has been on my to-read list for a while now. This is a post-apocalyptic story set in Los Angeles that… Read more »

New Trailer: The Avengers

New Trailer: The Avengers

I’ve been meaning to post this trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron a couple of weeks now but have only just now managed to do it. I don’t have much to say about it. I love a good super hero movie no doubt I will be seeing this when it comes out. It definitely looks darker than the last Avengers film but sequels tend to do that. It’s like now it’s time to get serious. :)

Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and The Story Siren, Stacked is a weekly post where I share with you the books that I’ve bought, borrowed or received for the week. Hi, everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday, if you celebrate. I am still on vacation, which has been very nice. I’ve been getting in a little bit of reading time though not as much as usual. But it’s good to just relax and focus on family and myself for a little while. I will definitely be sad when this vacation is over. Even though I brought… Read more »
