Stacked (163): All About Romance

Hi, everyone! Happy July/August. Once again, I find myself woefully behind on blogging. I am trying not to feel too bad about it though because life is life and books are my happy place. On this week’s Stacked, I am featuring some really fun romances that I received from publishers via Edelweiss recently. As you know, I am a huge romance reader and they’re especially great for summer when I want fun reads for the beach, vacation, and other lazy days. Let’s scroll on down an learn a little more about these book, shall we?

The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare – As you guys may know, I am a huge Tessa Dare fan so her books are always high on my to-read list. This is the third book in her Girl Meets Duke series and is about a wallflower, her imposing neighbor, and a menagerie of animals that need new homes. This one sounds super sweet and I love a good wallflower tale. (Release date August 13, 2019)

The Rogue to Ruin by Vivienne Lorret – Truthfully, I am not sure if I have read a Vivienne Lorret book before. Maybe one a long time ago…but this one looked intriguing and I love a good Regency romance. This has one of my favorite tropes – a pretend romance. Super excited to read this one.
(Release date July, 2019)

Brazen and the Beast by Sarah MacLean – This is another auto-read author for me. She has a way of writing that just sucks me in gets me emotionally invested. This is a newer series so I am not as familiar with the characters but I am still super excited to read this. (Release date July 30, 2019)

Sapphire Flames by Ilona Andrews – One of my favorite writing teams ever! I actually already read this book and need to get writing my review. This is the first full length book featuring Catalina Baylor, younger sister of Nevada who is the protagonist in the previous books in the series. I think fans of this series will really enjoy this one. Lots of intrigue, action, and sexual tension between Catalina and her potential suitor. Look out for my review soon. (Release date August 27, 2019)

No Judgments by Meg Cabot – I haven’t read a Meg Cabot book in a long time but this looked super cute. It’s about an animal lover who,
during a hurricane, tries to help her neighbors reunite with their pets. Unfortunately she has to enlist the help of a known heartbreaker to help her. Doesn’t this sound like a great vacation read? I am going to Hawaii later this year and might just save it for the trip. (Release date September 24, 2019)

Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren – My love for this writing duo has no bounds. I just love them and their books so of course I had to get this. This one is about two lovers who break apart and then find each other again many years later (another fave trope). They’re both still attracted to each other but can they put the past behind them and move forward to a HEA? Since it’s CLo I am pretty sure they will but it’ll be fun to find out how they get there. (Release date October 22, 2019)

These are some of the new and upcoming releases that I will be diving into soon. What has been your favorite summer read so far this year? Are you looking forward to any other books? I’d love to know. :)
