Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and The Story Siren, Stacked is a weekly post where I share with you the books that I’ve bought, borrowed or received for the week.

I hope that everyone is having a good weekend so far. This has been a super stressful week for me what with the car accident and trying to figure out what kind of new car I want to buy. I have learned that I really suck at making decisions when it comes to big purchases. Thank goodness I have lots of good friends who will listen to me whine. Hopefully I will have figured something out and will have a new car in the next week or so. Since all of my future money will be going to car payments, I have to be super frugal moving forward. That means no more book buying binges and I don’t have to use every coupon BN sends me. This week’s book haul fits right in with my new thrifty lifestyle. I borrowed just one book this week from a friend.

A Heart Revealed by Jodi S Kilpack is a young adult historical romance about a young woman who was is the belle of the ball until a public humiliation ends her prospects and she finds herself exiled in Yorkshire. My friend receieved a copy of this book for review and recommended it. It’s labeled as a clean romance which means romance without the smutty parts. I am not used to this but my friend assures me that it’s a well well written and sweet romance.

I have to finish my book club book tonight (which I am not loving) but, after that, I hope to start a new book. Happy reading!
