Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and The Story Siren, Stacked is a weekly post where I share with you the books that I’ve bought, borrowed or received for the week.

Hi, everyone. Sorry there’s no Manicure Monday this week. I wasn’t reading anything new so that meant no nail art for this week. Since I also didn’t have time to post Stacked yesterday, I thought I’d post it today instead. I don’t have a huge book haul this week. I won a giveaway on a blog tour for Elizabeth Hoyt which came last week. I also borrowed an audiobook from a friend.This one I can’t wait to listen to. Let’s see what I got!

The two books I received from Elizabeth Hoyt were Darling Beast and Hot (written under her pen name Julia Harper). I’ve already read Darling Beast (review here) but was excited to get a physical copy. This one is even signed. Sadly I messed up the cover a bit trying to remove the “Autographed by the Author” sticker. Seriously, why do bookstores put stickers on book covers that damage the book? I hate when that happens. I haven’t read any of Hoyt’s contemporary romances so I am also really excited to see what Hot is like.

As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride by Cary Elwes (audiobook) – My friend just lent me her audiobook of this one. I love The Princess Bride and have heard really good things about this book. Excited to listen to it on my commute this week.

Those are the only books I received this week. Not too bad. I really need to up my reading game though. The last few weeks I been in a bit of a slump and I need to catch up if I am going to make my annual reading goal. Saw Big Hero 6 this weekend, which was really adorable. I would definitely recommend it. And I am going to see Interstellar tonight. I’ve been avoiding spoilers but I hope it’s good.
