Hi, guys! Happy Sunday. The hot weather continues here in Southern California. Seriously I just want some fall weather so I can snuggle up on the couch with a blanket. Right now I have to blast the A/C so that I don’t melt. Oh well. This week’s book haul is a pretty small one, though I am going to the library later so that may change. I went to a couple of book signings and picked up a couple of things I’ve been looking forward to.

Bought

Rooms by Lauren Oliver – I saw Lauren Oliver at Vroman’s on Friday and picked up her new adult book. This one looks kind of creepy and I think it’ll be perfect for my October reading list.

Huckleberry by Zoe Nathan – I was lucky enough to find out about this signing the day before and was able to make it. This cookbook looks delicious and Nathan is funny and down to earth in person. I want to make everything in this book!

Now I am off to the library to hopefully add more books to my reading list. I also hope to see The Maze Runner today. I know, I am so behind. Gone Girl is out as well but I think I might wait and see what next week. No Manicure Monday tomorrow as this week has been crazy and I haven’t even had a chance to take my last manicure off, much less do a new one. I’ll be back next week though with a special manicure for a blog tour. Have a great day, everyone!
