I always like seeing what happens after happily ever after and Beautiful Beloved is a fun addition to the Beautiful Bastard series. New parents Max and Sara are struggling to balance life with a newborn. Their attempts to bring some of the spark back into their sex life has comical results but, in the end, they figure out a way to make it work and their relationship is stronger than ever.

I am a huge, huge fan of author Nalini Singh, with my favorites being her Psy-Changeling and Guild Hunters series of paranormal romances. The announcement of the Rock Kiss series was a bit of a surprise since she doesn’t usually write straight contemporary. While contemporary isn’t my favorite genre, I knew that if Nalini Singh was writing it, I had to read it. If anyone could turn this paranormal/urban fantasy lover into a contemporary convert, it would be Singh.
Hi, everyone! I am really excited to be participating in the ROCK ADDICTION blog tour today. As you may know, I am a huge, huge fan of Nalini Singh. She’s an auto-buy author for me and I am really excited about her new book. This book is a bit of a departure foe her and is a straight up contemporary romance with a rock n roll vibe. Today I have an excerpt as well as a giveaway. I hope you decide to give this book a chance. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. A bad boy wrapped in a… Read more »

Ever since I read Marine for Hire (Front and Center #1) , I was hoping for a Mac and Kelli book. I was so excited to see that it was coming out that I pre-ordered it. This is big, since I don’t pre-order many books. When the book arrived, I started reading it immediately. I would have read it all night if I hadn’t had an early morning training. As it was, I stayed up too late and then felt like a kid again as I tried sneaking in chapters during the breaks and slows parts of the training. And when I did finally finish reading it, I went back and re-read all my favorite parts.
Recently, I have been in a reading slump. I start books and don’t finish them. I have trouble with finding a connection to characters and I wonder if I will ever finish a book again. I reached out to a friend and asked her to recommend a favorite book. We have similar taste in books, particularly in the types of hero/heroines we like. Her response – Sweet Filthy Boy by Christina Lauren, author of the Beautiful Series. As part of full disclosure, I have not read the Beautiful Series. Something about that series never appealed to me.
