Stacked (120)
Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and The Story Siren, Stacked is a weekly post where I share with you the books that I’ve bought, borrowed or received for the week.
Hi, everyone. As you may have noticed, this post is a couple of days late. I went out of town for the Labor Day weekend and meant to post this on Monday (which was still late) but didn’t manage to get to the computer until now. But I wanted to share with you the boks that I picked up this weekend. All of these are from Half Price Books, a used and new bookstore chain. I always visit when I go home because they have a really good selection and additional sales during the holidays.
Preacher Book One and Book Two by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon – Preacher was one of my favorite comic series as a teen and I just found out recently that they came out with newer, bigger trades a few years ago. HPB had the first two volumes for a great price so I grabbed them. Hopefully I will reread this series soon.
Between by Kerry Schafer – I keep checking this book out from the library but haven’t managed to read it. It was on sale for $2 so I figured I’d just buy it so I could read it when the mood struck.
Duke of Midnight by Elizabeth Hoyt – One of Hoyt’s Maiden Lane series books and probably my favorite of the series. I bought an ebook copy of it when it came out but have been wanting a hard copy.
Winterblaze by Kristen Callihan – Another book that I own an ebook of but loved so much that I needed to get a hard copy as well.
We Love Color – This is a quilting book. I actually don’t sew much but it’s one of those things that I want to do more of one day. This book is part of that fantasy.
I was really glad to find a lot of my favorites for good prices since I already own most of them in another format. Do you have multiple copies of books you love?
