Noah and Kit’s story is finally here! While Nalini Singh is probably best known for her paranormal romance series (if you haven’t read them, you must!) she’s also making us swoon with her newer contemporary Rock Kiss series. She’s been releasing excerpts over the last couple of weeks and it’s been driving me crazy not being able to get the book. Thank goodness it’s now available. Adult coloring books have seen a surge in popularity over the last year or so. With high pressure jobs and hectic home lives, many stressed out adults are starting to see the benefits of carving out a little bit of time for creativity. Coloring books are a really great way to do something fun and creative that doesn’t require a lot of materials of preparation. Just grab a box of crayons or colored pencils and you’re ready to go. It’s a great activity to enjoy solo or with the whole family.

Hi and welcome to Manicure Monday, a feature that combines my love of reading and nail polish. Each week I’ll showcase one of my current reads along with a matching book manicure. It has been a while since my last manicure post. I really haven’t been feeling the nail art inspiration lately and have not been painting my nails all that much. However, I started a book with a great cover recently which inspired this look.
This week’s manicure was inspired by The Chaos of Stars by Kiersten White. Unfortunately I only have a digital copy of this book so I didn’t get any pics of the cover and my nails together.
Hi, everyone. It’s been quite a while since my last sale post. Truthfully I’ve been trying to stay away from buying new eBooks since I already have such a huge backlog of unread ones. That doesn’t mean that you should all suffer though and I’ve noticed a few really good sales lately. I don’t know how long all of these books will be on sale so if you see something you like, I would get it sooner rather than later. Also, these all link to the Amazon Kindle editions because I have a Kindle but these books may be on sale on other digital platforms as well. Pilot season is upon us again and I thought I’d do a little post about some of the pilots that I was able to get a sneak peak of at Comic-Con earlier this summer. Here’s a little peek at some of the shows that I am most interested in.
Children are disappearing from Gotham and people are whispering that it’s the ghost of woman haunted by her children’s deaths. Kate Kane (aka Batwoman) doesn’t know who’s taking the children, but she is on a mission to find them and bring them back to their families. Along the way she must deal with a secret government agency who wants to unmask her, a recruitment offer from Batman, training her young cousin (aka Flamebird) on the finer points of being a vigilante, and dating a police officer who doesn’t know that she dons a mask at night.
