2018 Beat the Backlist Challenge
Happy New Year! I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday. Hopefully you got a little time off to spend with family and friends or just chilling out by yourself. Personally I wish I’d had more chill out time but I can’t complain, since I don’t get to hang out with my family enough. I had lots of grand plans for posting wrap ups and best of lists for the end of the year but I found myself too consumed with holiday prep to really do any blogging. I know I haven’t blogged much in the last year or so, but thanks for sticking with me. I definitely still enjoy blogging but just don’t have a ton of time for it anymore. I’ll try to be better this year.
I am starting off the new year with a reading challenge. I signed up for this challenge last year and read only 3 books from my backlist. That’s not a great record but it was a motivating challenge so I decided to try again this year. My goal this year will be slightly more challenging and I’d to read 10 books from my backlist in 2018. I haven’t picked out which books I plan to read yet and will probably just pick as I go. Many thanks to Novel Knight for hosting this challenge again. If you’d like to join or get more info, check out the sign up post here. I’ll be back to edit this post once I am assigned a team.
EDIT:
I’ve been assigned to the Story Sorcerers team. Individuals will be able to earn points for their teams and then I think winners for prizes will be picked from the winning team. Sounds a little bit like Harry Potter, which I am all for. Go, team!
What are some of your 2018 reading goals?
