Uncovered (91): Grim

Hi and welcome to Uncovered, a weekly post where I feature one of my current cover loves.

Hi, kids. Hope 2014 is off to a good start for everyone. Today’s featured cover is Grim written by various authors. This is a collection of stories, inspired by classic fairy tales and written by popular YA authors like Ellen Hopkins, Amanda Hocking, Julie Kagawa, Claudia Gray, Rachel Hawkins and more. I am a sucker for any fairy tale type book and this one sounds like a lot of fun. It definitely has that sort of old school leather bound book vibe. The tree image is pretty standard with fairy tales but I like it here and the little details of the motifs in the tree. This cover looks like it’s probably even better looking in person. I have a feeling that the image may be embossed or have some kind of texture. I also love this shade of purple. I can’t wait to see this one in person.

Do you guys love it this or are you over fairy tale re-tellings? Have a fun weekend, everyone!
