Uncovered (139): Sword

Who says you can’t judge a book by its cover? While it’s not the only factor in picking up a book, a pretty cover doesn’t hurt. Uncovered is a weekly post where I show some cover love.

Hi there. This week I am featuring new to me author Amy Bai and her novel Sword. I can’t remember where I first saw this one but I immediately knew that it would have to be on Uncovered. You all know my affinity for illustrated covers and I love the striking image and bold colors of this cover. It does look a bit cartoon-y but I am hoping that the real cover has a little more depth to it so it doesn’t look quite as flat. This cover just screams fantasy to me with the sword and the forest leaves.

Has anyone heard anything about this book yet? It’s definitely going on my TBR list!
