Uncovered (126): Hit

Who says you can’t judge a book by its cover? While it’s not the only factor in picking up a book, a pretty cover doesn’t hurt. Uncovered is a weekly post where I show some cover love. Hope you enjoy!

Many thanks to my friend Bookyurt for featuring this book recently in her Comic-Con book report post. There was some talk of this book at SDCC but I didn’t get to see the cover until now. Hit by Delilah S Dawson is a young adult novel that is a suspense thriller. I’ve only read one book by Dawson (which I was not a big fan of) but I’d be willing to give another book by her a try. I just adore this illustrated cover. It’s simple but very clever. I like how her eye is made with the silhouette of the gun. It just looks like it’s going to be fun.
