Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read In 2013

Happy New Year! Hope you all had a safe and fun holiday. Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Every week focuses on a different topic and you make a top ten list from it! This week’s topic is: Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read In 2013.

Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin – Yes, I was supposed to read this last year but never got around to it. 2013 will be the year!

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern – So sad I haven’t read this yet. I bought it when it first came out in hardcover and now it’s in paperback. Must read it.

Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness – I was so excited to get the sequel to A Discovery of Witches at ALA last year. But it’s a large tome and I never feel like carrying it around. But I want to read it this year.

Soulbound by Heather Brewer – I love Auntie Heather and really must read this book. I hear it has a kickass heroine in it.

My Life As a White Trash Zombie by Diana Rowland – I have the first two books in this series and both remain unread. I really need to read at least the first one this year.
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn – This book is on so many lists and tons of my friends loved it. Finally got it on Kindle and am hoping to read it very soon.

The Restorer by Amanda Stevens – This series was recommended by my friend K. The premise sounds really cool and I am hoping it’s a new series that I will love.

Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder – Loved Maria’s Study series but haven’t had a chance to read her new one yet. The second book just came out so I better get to reading this one.
UnWholly by Neal Shustermann – I loved Unwind and stood in a super long line at ALA to get this one. Not sure why I haven’t started this yet but I will read it in 2013!
Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson – Another popular series I have yet to start. My friend C will have a heart attack if I don’t read it soon. Since I like her, I will be reading it soon. :)

You heard it here. I am going to really try to actually read all of these next year. Any books on your must read list for 2013?
