Stacked (6): The One with Tangle of Need
Hello and welcome to another edition of Stacked, my weekly haul post where I share what I have bought, borrowed and received for the week. Welcome!
This week has been pretty light. Been trying to keep the buying down to a minimum unless it’s on my Kindle. I need to read more of my physical books before I buy anymore. Speaking of Kindles, mine had a minor freak out earlier in the week which caused me a small panic attack. Luckily I managed to get it running again but now I am super paranoid that something is going to happen to it. I don’t know when it happened but I have become quite dependent on my Kindle. Maybe it’s all of my NetGalley books and the fact that I tend to buy a lot of my romance and urban fantasy books on Kindle but I do use it a lot. I still love physical books but I also love being able to carry hundreds of books around with me at once and being able to buy things and read them immediately. Anyway, we’re off topic. Let’s see what I got this week!
Borrowed (library)
Proof by Seduction by Courtney Milan – Another write who I am obsessed with. Seriously, I stalked her for an interview and must now read everything she has written (actually already read most of them but there are a couple I haven’t read yet). *Finished this and it was awesome sauce. Review to come.
Trial by Desire by Courtney Milan – Second book in the Carhart series (see above for first book). I need to pace myself on the Courtney Milan or I’ll run out and have nothing to read soon.
Taken by Storm by Jennifer Lynn Barnes – Third book in this series. Ashamed to say that I still need to read 1 and 2.
Bought
Tangle of Need by Nalini Singh – Oh how I love Nalini Singh. She’s a total auto buy for me. Got this on my Kindle Monday night and read by Tuesday night. Review soon!
For Review
My Fair Concubine by Jeannie Lin (NetGalley) – I just bought the first two books in this series last week. Very excited to see the upcoming installment on NG. I may have to do a marathon reading one weekend.
Moonglow by Kristen Callihan (NetGalley) – Kristen posted that this had gone up on NG on her Facebook page and I immediately went to request it. Thank you NG and Grand Central for approving me. I can’t wait to read this one.
That’s it for this week. Anyone have any good plans for the weekend? I am going to try to knit and read and see Snow White and the Huntsman. Charlize Theron looks fantastically evil in it. And I did see Men in Black 3 last weekend. I thought it was pretty good, esp since the last one sucked. Have a great weekend, everyone!
