Hello and welcome to Stacked, a weekly (usually) post where I discuss what books I’ve recently bought, borrowed or received. Happy 2016! Is everyone having as hard a time as I am adjusting to being back at work? Even though I had a fair amount of time off, I feel like I need a vacation from vacation.  I am hoping to do a 2016 goal post at some point this month, but we’ll see how far I get with that. :) Well here are a few books that made their way to me recently.

In Bed with the Duke by Christina Dodd – My library has a very sad romance section but, occasionally, I do like to peruse it to see if anything catches my eye. Last week, this historical by Christina Dodd caught my attention. It’s about a shy lady’s companion and a duke. I have not read a lot by Christina Dodd but this looks like it might be fun.

After the Red Rain by Barry Lyga, Peter Facinelli and Rob DeFranco – This is a post apocalyptic YA novel. I don’t really know much about it but I was a fan of Lyga’s I Hunt Killers series and I am interested to see how the three authors meld their styles together. Will it be awesome or a hot mess? Guess I’ll find out.

The Rogue Not Taken by Sarah MacLean (signed) – Yes, I totally pre-ordered myself a signed copy from WORDS book shop. It came while I was on vacation so I didn’t get it until after the new year, but it’s sooooo pretty and I can’t wait to read it. This is a new series for MacLean and I pretty much love all of her books. I love the little Christmas themed postcard they sent as well.

I’ve actually read much more this year so far than I’d anticipated. I am trying to listen to more audiobooks as well and I have listened to one already so far this year. What have you guys been reading in 2016?
