Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and The Story Siren, Stacked is a weekly post where I share with you the books that I’ve bought, borrowed or received for the week.

Hi, everyone. Are you having a good weekend? I’ve been keeping busy this week getting reading for Comic Con. It’s kind of crazy how much planning I usually do for Comic Con. Obviously you don’t have to be as anal as me but I like to have a plan mapped out and a general idea of what I want to see and buy. It can be pretty overwhelming and I just want to make my life easier. That said, I will be in San Diego for part of the week next week. So if it’s a big quiet around here, you’ll know why. If you care to stay up to date with my Comic Con happenings, the best place to find me is Instagram. Now, onto this week’s books!

Borrowed

Stacked 7/19/14

This week’s books are all library books. I have been trying to budget lately so the library is always a wonderful resource.

Dark Star by Bethany Frenette – This is a book that has been on my to-read list for ages. It also came highly recommended by a friend so I finally decided to pick it up and give it a go.

The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith – I read The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Smith and really enjoyed it. I’ve gotten behind on her books abut was excited to see her newest at the library. And such a cute cover!

Hollow City by Ransom Riggs – I finally read Miss Peregrine this past week and figured I’d keep the momentum going by checking out The Hollows. I really want to find out what happens after the end of Miss Peregrine.

My reading has been going slowly this week though I did stay home sick one day, which caught me up a little. Hoping I can read more this weekend as I am sure to come home with more books after Comic Con. Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
