Uncovered (76): Tandem

Hi, kids. I am going to keep this pretty short today since it’s been a really long week. Today on Uncovered, I have Tandem, an upcoming YA release. It involves parallel universes, which is a subject that always interests me. I am also watching season 2 of Fringe right now and I think I am in that kind of mindset. But I really like this cover. I was able to snag an arc at SDCC so I can say that it’s very pretty in person. The colors are great and I like how the text is incorporated into the main image.

I also like the double exposure type image with the girl and background within the bird silhouette. I always like bird motifs and this one definitely reminds me of Poe because of it. I met Anna at SDCC and she told us that it wasn’t a raven but another kind of bird. I can’t remember what kind right now though. And I think each cover in the series will have a different bird, which I think is really cool. I am excited to see what the final, printed cover will look like.
